The Light Shines on: Wal-Mart and SunPower Announce Solar Power on Central Valley Store

Wal-Mart announced their latest solar achievement today: the completion of a 554-kilowatt solar array at the Wal-Mart store in Hanford, California.  The system has been installed by SunPower, and is estimated to generate 15% of the store's electricity. needs.  Amazingly, the system will be able to save them up to $250 dollars per hour during peak usage times!
