Solar power propels students to the finish line

As the Annual World Championship of Solar/Electric boating draws closer, Jim Quigg and his team of College Engineering Majors rush to get their solar powered boat up and running. As a senior project, the team has worked tirelessly to create an 18-foot boat that can cruise along at 15 mph powered only on solar and 40 mph short sprints on batteries.
