Solar Power Storage Solution: Liquid Batteries

One of the biggest hurdles to off-grid solar power is that there is no cheap or simple way to store excess energy. A MIT team has invented an all-liquid battery that is powerful enough to store solar-generated electricity for long periods of time. The new liquid battery can take a very large charging current, ten times larger than any previous lead based battery.
