Also, it has closed an asset purchase agreement with Light Energy Systems in Concord, California. Acro continues to actively evaluate suitable acquisition candidates across North America and Canada.
While the solar integration industry has grown exponentially in the 2000’s, the current operators tend to be small in scale. There are approximately five dominant players, and even those have annual revenues averaging at just$40 million.
And still, with no giants in the field, the U.S. market for solar power is expected to triple from its 2004 activity of $4 billion to $12 billion by 2012.
